Millikin Women’s Soccer Dominates MacMurray

          The Millikin women's soccer team dominated MacMurray College 9-0 in the season opener on Sept. 2 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Ill. 
          Millikin controlled the game with the ball staying in the Big Blue offensive end of the field for the entire contest.  Millikin took 50 shots while holding MacMurray without a shot.  The Big Blue had 34 shots on goal.
          Millikin sophomore Kat Stiles had two goals and four assists tying the Millikin record for assists in a game.  Sophomore Lucy Koger had three goals and one assist.
Other Millikin goals went to freshman Joslynn Smith, freshman Sydney Rudny, freshman
Mackenzie Kiewitt and junior Taylor Hartman.  Rebecca Kovacs and Emily Ratchford picked up assists in the game.
          MacMurray goalie Sarah Maguire had 25 saves.
          Millikin returns to action on Sunday hosting Westminster College at 2 p.m.
