Big Blue Women’s Soccer Downs Westminster

          The Millikin women's soccer team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 3-1 win over Westminster College at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois on Sept. 3.
          Westminster took an early 1-0 lead on a goal from Paige Townsend. 
          The Big Blue would then answer with three straight goals.  Millikin's Lucy Koger converted two penalty kick opportunities to give the Big Blue a 2-1 lead.  Rebecca Kovacs scored an insurance goal in the 80th minute on an assist from Taylor Hartman.
          Anna Benvenuto earned the win in goal with four saves.
          Millikin will host Illinois College on September 6 at 7:30 p.m.
