Millikin Volleyball Splits Pair of Games

         The 12th ranked Millikin volleyball team split a pair of games at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Invitational on September 9 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
         Millikin won its opening match of the day 3-0 over Lakeland University (25-18, 25-10, 25-17).  Erin Syversen led Millikin with 15 kills followed by Alora Goodey with 13.  Emily Mihalkanin had a team high 23 set assists and three service aces. 
         In its second match of the day, Millikin lost 3-1 to the host school Stevens Point.  Millikin won the first set 25-13, before the Pointers won the next three 25-13, 25-18 and 27-25.  Syversen had 15 kills and 10 digs.  Goodey had 10 kills and three blocks.  Emily Seegmiller had 14 digs, eight kills and two aces. Meredith Artime had a team high 27 digs and Mihalkanin had 26 assists and seven digs.
         Millikin is now 6-1 while Wisconsin-Stevens Point goes to 7-2.
