Millikin Women’s Basketball Loses to Thunder

          The Millikin women's basketball team lost to Wheaton College 75-53 on January 27 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.
          Wheaton was in control of the game throughout and had a 33-17 advantage at halftime.  Wheaton hit on 44 percent from the field and made 9-24 from three-point range.  Millikin hit 34 percent of its shots and went 4-12 from beyond the arc.  Millikin won the rebounding battle 38-32.
          Millikin's top scorer was Devin Curry with 16 points. Lauren Moses had six points and a game high 12 rebounds.
          Kristi Demski had 11 points for Wheaton followed by Maggie Dansdill with 10. 
          Millikin is now 5-13, 0-9 while Wheaton improves to 15-4, 8-2.
