Millikin Swimming Falls to Franklin

          The Millikin swimming team dropped a dual meet with Franklin College on November 2 at the Decatur Family YMCA. The Big Blue men lost 147-49 and the Milikin women lost 166-35.
          The Millikin men picked up three event wins with Cole Jones winning the 50 Yard Freestyle in 22.65 seconds. Freshman Felix Archer won the 100 Yard Backstroke in 55.36 seconds and Nick Hoerr was second in the 100 Yard Freestyle in 51.37 seconds.
          The Millikin women were shorthanded for the meet with three of their members at the NCAA Triathlon Championships in Arizona.
          Big Blue Alex Kennedy was third in the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle 2:10.70 and third in the 500 Yard Freestyle 5:48.12.
          The Millikin swimmers will be back in action at Illinois College on Saturday.
