Big Blue Men Fall to #3 Augustana

          The Millikin men lost to third ranked Augustana College 76-42 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois on December 15.
          The game was all Augustana was the Vikings used a 20-0 scoring run to build a 44-16 advantage at halftime. Augustana shot 55 percent from the field and went 6-15 from three-point range. Millikin hit only 25.5 percent from the field and went 2-17 from beyond the arc. Millikin outrebounded Augustana 36-31, but committed 29 turnovers compared to 17 for the Vikings.
          Millikin's top scorer was Zach Fisher with nine followed by Elijah Henry with seven. Jordan Cunningham had a team high 12 rebounds.
          Chrishawan Orange led the Vikings with 14 points.
          Millikin is now 5-4, 1-3 while Augustana improves to 8-1, 3-0.
          The Big Blue host Illinois College on December 19 at 4 p.m.
