The Millikin baseball team rolled to a 19-7 win at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas on March 10.  Millikin improved to 7-1 on the season while Southwestern goes to 4-5.
         Millikin used the big inning to control the game.  The Big Blue scored four runs in the first, five runs in the second, five runs in the fifth and four runs in the sixth.  Millikin's offense was sparked by a first inning grand slam from Julian Gutierrez.
         Millikin had five players collect two hits in the game.  Devin Crews went 2-5 with a triple and three runs scored and three RBI.  Mason Bruce went 2-5 with two RBI.  Jake Drada was 2-4 with a double scoring two runs and driving home two.  Gutierrez finished 2-4 with a double and home run.  Luke Azzarelli was 2-3 with three runs scored.
         Logan Talkington was the winning pitcher for Millikin going five innings while allowing four hits and three earned runs.
         Colby Schmidt went 2-5 with a triple to lead the Pirate attack.
         The two teams will conclude the three game series on Sunday at 12 p.m.
