Big Blue Baseball Loses in Extra Innings

         The Millikin baseball team lost at the University of Texas-Dallas 6-5 in 10 innings on March 14.
         Trailing 5-4, Millikin tied the game in the top of the seventh inning.  Anthony Bryan led off the inning and scored on a Jake Drada groundout.  The game stayed tied until the bottom of the 10th inning when the Comets' Dylan Palmer drove home the game winning run.
         Jon Walters was 2-5 for Millikin including a two-run home run.  Bryan had an RBI double and Seth Coffey had a double, one run scored and one RBI.
         Connor Scruggs led Texas-Dallas going 4-4 with three RBI.  Barry Casey was 3-5.
         Millikin is now 7-4 while the University of Texas-Dallas improves to 10-8.
         The Big Blue plays at Mary Hardin Baylor on March 15 to wrap up its Texas trip.
