The Millikin softball team opened its College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) season dropping a doubleheader at #10 Illinois Wesleyan on March 28 on a cold wet night in Bloomington, Illinois.
        Game one included a long rain delay and saw the Titans come up with a 6-1 victory.
         Kalli Farmer led the Millikin attack going 2-4 with a double. Chelsea Eads had a run scoring single in the first inning for the Big Blue.
        Shelby Falk led the Titans going 3-3 with a home run with three runs scored and three RBI. Brea Walker pitched seven innings limiting Millikin to seven hits and one run.
        Illinois Wesleyan took the second game 4-1. Freshman Skielyr Trenke hit a pinch hit home run for the Big Blue's lone run.
        Jillian Runyon led the Titans going 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Kara Bischoff and Maggie Graham each added two hits. Ally Wiegand was the winning pitcher going seven innings allowing five hits and one run.
        Millikin falls to 9-7, 0-2 and Illinois Wesleyan improves to 9-3, 2-0.
