Millikin Baseball’s Rally Falls Short

         The Millikin baseball team's late game rally fell short as the Big Blue lost at North Central College 13-10 on March 31 in Naperville, Illinois.
         North Central led 4-3 after three innings, but broke the game open with a seven run fourth inning.  Millikin rallied to score four runs in the seventh and three in the eighth to pull to within three runs, but North Central was able to close out the rally in the eighth turning a double play with the bases loaded.
         Jake Drada led the Millikin offense going 4-6 with a double.  Jon Walters went 3-5 with a two-run eighth inning home run.  Walters had three runs scored and two RBI.  Mason Bruce was 2-5 with three RBI.
         Eric Outlaw led the Cardinal attack going 3-5 with two RBI.  The Cardinals had four players collect two hits each.
         Millikin falls to 10-8, 0-4 while North Central improves to 9-6, 5-0.
