Millikin Baseball Rolls over North Park

         The Millikin baseball team defeated North Park 12-2 on April 13 in Chicago.
         Millikin jumped out to an early lead in the first inning on a two run home run from Jake Drada.  The inning launched the Big Blue offensive attack that saw Millikin collect 20 hits in the game.  Drada finished the night 4-5 with three RBI and three runs scored.  Anthony Bryan went 4-5 with a double and Jon Walters was 3-5 with a double and an RBI.  Mason Bruce was 2-4 with a double and three RBI.  Seth Coffey collected two hits and Andrew Auton had two RBI.
         Millikin's Connor Gross was the winning pitcher throwing seven innings allowing only three hits and two earned runs while striking out 10.  Brent Beals pitched two scoreless innings in relief allowing one hit with three strikeouts.
         Seth Dvorak went 2-4 with a home run and two RBI for North Park.
         Millikin improves to 14-12, 4-8 while North Park falls to 10-14, 5-4.
         The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, April 14 starting at 12 p.m. weather permitting.  Thunderstorms are in the forecast for Chicago on Saturday.
