Millikin Baseball Rolls Past North Park

         The Millikin baseball team rolled past North Park University 11-2 on April 17 at Sunnyside Park in Decatur.
         The Big Blue took control of the game early scoring two runs in the first and three in the second inning.
         Seth Coffey went 3-5 to lead the Millikin attack.  Luke Azzarelli was 2-6 with a home run and three RBI.  Brent Beals drove home two runs for the Big Blue.  Other Millikin players collecting RBI included Jake Drada, Jon Walters, Mason Bruce, Anthony Bryan and Julian Gutierrez.
         Millikin got solid relief pitching with Michael Staszcuk who picked up the victory throwing one inning allowing one hit.  Jared Buzan pitched one and one-third innings of hitless relief.  Jack Morgan pitched the final three innings to earn the save allowing only one hit while striking out five.
         Millikin improves to 15-12, 5-8 while North Park goes to 10-15, 5-5.
         The Big Blue host Illinois Wesleyan on April 18 at 6 p.m.
