Big Blue Baseball Falls

         The Millikin baseball team lost a conference doubleheader to Carroll University on April 22 in games played at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois.
The Pioneers took game one 3-2 and won the second game 8-0.
         Carroll scored all three of its runs as of the result of two Millikin errors.
         Devin Crews led the Millikin attack going 3-5, Luke McConnell went 2-4 with a double and Mason Bruce was 2-4.  Adam Peters had an RBI on a sacrifice bunt and Jon Walters had a run scoring double.
         Carroll's Carter Howard was the winning pitcher scattering 12 hits over seven and two-third innings limiting the Big Blue to two runs while striking out five.       
         Game two was all Pioneers with the Big Blue getting only four hits and committing four errors.  Anthony Bryan had two hits for the Big Blue.
         Jacob Langford led Carroll going 3-5.
         Millikin drops to 15-16, 5-12 while Carroll goes to 16-14, 5-12.
