Men’s Tennis Sixth at CCIW Tournament

          The Millikin men's tennis team finished in sixth place at the 2018 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Tennis Championships hosted by North Central College May 3-5.
          In its first match on Friday in the consolation, round Millikin defeated Elmhurst College 5-0.  Millikin picked up three points in doubles action.  Jacob Palley and Colin Sandgren won 8-1 at number one doubles.  Connor Sacks and Tom Emola won 8-1 at number two doubles.  The Big Blue won the third doubles match by default.
          The Big Blue picked up a singles win by default and Greg Schwoeppe ended the match winning at four singles 6-2, 6-1.
          In the fifth place match, Millikin lost to Carroll University 5-1.  Schwoeppe and Dane Pierantoni scored Millikin's point with a win at three doubles.
          Millikin ends the year at 10-10.
