Big Blue Men’s Soccer Scores Opening Win

         The Millikin men's soccer team opened the 2018 season with a 3-0 win over Kalamazoo College on September 1 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
         Millikin scored in the sixth minute on a goal from junior Bradyn Nokes off a corner kick from Patrick Dolan.  Millikin scored at the 23:10 mark to make it 2-0 on a goal by freshman Ethan Wade with the assist going to Austin Taylor.  The Big Blue added an insurance goal in the second period with Dolan finding the net with assists to freshman William Showers and Nokes.
         Isaac Hopper scored the shutout win in goal for Millikin with two saves.
         The Big Blue will be back in action on Sunday, September 2 at 6 p.m. hosting Alma College.
