The Millikin women's volleyball team began the Holiday Inn Express Classic with a 3-0 victory over Williams College (25-11, 25-11, 25-20).

Millikin's scoring attack was led by senior Emily Seegmiller with nine kills. Freshman Peyton Jackson added eight kills and Gabrielle Coulthard and Marissa McElroy chipped in seven apiece. Rose Syversen led the team with 30 assists, and Alyssa Vignos was the team's digs leader with nine.

The Big Blue improved to 7-6 on the season. On day two of the tournament, they will match up against Texas Lutheran University and Trinity University.
