The Millikin women's volleyball team took a CCIW loss on the road at North Park University. The Vikings took the Big Blue down in three sets (23-25, 17-25, 23-25). With the loss, Millikin fell to 8-8 overall, 1-2 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin. North Park is faring well in their 2018 campaign with a 14-4 overall record and 2-0 in conference play.

The Big Blue was once again led by Marissa McElroy in the kills column with 14, followed by Emily Seegmiller with ten. Rose Syversen tallied 34 assists for Millikin, and Alyssa Vignos dug up 20 balls for the Big Blue.

Millikin will have a chance to bounce back over the weekend at their home tournament, the Millikin Midseason Showcase. They will kick off tournament play at 6 P.M. on Friday night when they match up against Hope College at the Griswold Center.
