Big Blue Men Lose to Illinois Wesleyan

         The Millikin men's basketball team lost to Illinois Wesleyan University 87-71 on January 12 in snowy Decatur, Illinois.  The start of the game was delayed for two hours after a heavy snowfall in the area.
         Illinois Wesleyan led 44-30 and pushed out to a 27-point lead in the second half. Millikin 53 percent from the field and went 6-16 from three point range. Illinois Wesleyan hit on 49 percent from the field, but took 15 more shots than the Big Blue. The Titans outrebounded Millikin 36-28 and had 16 offensive rebounds.
         Jack Marinko lead Millikin with 19 points followed by Elijah Henry with 17 and Zach Fisher with 15 points.
         Brady Rose scored 23 to lead the Titans followed by Doug Wallen with 15.
         Millikin falls to 8-7, 2-5 while Illinois Wesleyan improves to 10-6, 3-4.
