Big Blue Men Score CCIW Road Win

         The Millikin men's basketball team picked up a needed College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) road win 71-58 at North Park University in Chicago on January 16.
         After North Park had its only lead of the game at 3-2, Levi Laws gave Millikin the lead at 4-3 and the Big Blue would stay in front the rest of the game. Millikin lead 35-31 at halftime and built a 52-35 advantage with 12:38 remaining in the game.  The Big Blue hit 43 percent from the field and went 7-21 (33 percent) from three-point range. Millikin won the rebounding battle 46-36. North Park made 34 percent from the field and went 5-25 from beyond the arc.
         Zach Fisher led Millikin with 20 points and five assists. Elijah Henry had a double double with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Calvin Fisher added 12 points and Jordan Cunningham had six points and 11 rebounds.
         Izaiah Sanders led North Park with 16.
         Millikin is now 9-7, 3-5 while North Park falls to 4-13, 2-6.
         The Big Blue host Carthage College on January 19 at 4 p.m.
