Saddler Tops 1,000 Career Points in Big Blue Loss

         The Millikin women's basketball team lost to Carthage College 73-43 on January 20 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.
         Millikin senior Yanni Saddler led the Big Blue with 15 points give her 1,001 points in her Millikin career.
         Carthage shot 42 percent from the field in the game and hit on 10-24 (42 percent) from three-point range. Carthage out rebounded Millikin 46-33 and scored 12 second chance points off of 14 offensive rebounds. Millikin shot 26.5 percent from the field and went 3-20 from three-point range.
         Autumn led Carthage with 18 points followed by Sammie Woodward and Bailey Gilbert with 13 points.
         Carthage improves to 13-5, 7-2 while Millikin falls to 5-13, 1-8.
