Millikin Men’s Swimming Scores Double Dual Victory

          The Millikin men's swimming team scored a double dual victory over Illinois Wesleyan 104-84 and North Central 133-52 on January 25 at the Decatur Family YMCA.
It was the Big Blue men's first win over the Titans in 11 years. The Millikin women defeated North Central 132-54 and lost to Illinois Wesleyan 140-61.
          The Millikin men won both relays. The Big Blue took the 200 Yard Medley Relay in 1:47.44 with Nick Canton, Nick Nemeth, Blaze Ogden and Cameron Lee swimming legs. Jacob Williams, Cole Jones, Nick Hoerr and Felix Archer teamed up to win the 200 Free Relay in 1:30.65.
          Archer won two individual events taking the 200 Yard IM in 2:04.15 and the 100 Yard Backstroke in 55.27 seconds.
          Jones won the 50 Freestyle in 22.15 seconds.
          Nemeth won the 100 Breaststroke in 1:03.91.
          On the women's side, freshman Olivia Marquardt won the 100 Yard Butterfly in 1:01.04.
          Millikin will swim at the Principia College Panther Invite on Saturday.
