Big Blue Volleyball Downs Kohawk

        The Millikin volleyball team defeated Coe College 3-1 at the Kohawk Invite on October 18 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
        Millikin won the first set 25-20 before falling to Coe 25-22 in the second set.  The Big Blue then won 25-13 and 25-19 to win the match.
        Freshman Tori Stuart led the Big Blue with 14 kills.  Lauren Brummel and Marissa McElroy each added 13.  Alyssa Vignos had 13 digs and four service aces. Julianna Vassallo had a team high 15 digs.  Rose Syversen had 38 set assists and three service aces.
        Millikin improves to 14-9 while Coe falls to 12-15.
        Millikin will play the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and Martin Luther College in action on Saturday in the Kohawk Invite starting at 10 a.m.
