Big Blue Softball Now 2-2 on Season

         The Millikin softball team went to 2-2 on the season splitting a pair of games at the Tucson Softball Invitational in Tucson, Arizona on March 9.
         Millikin lost game one 3-2 to Cornell College and won its second game 9-0 to Mount Mary.
         In game one, Millikin was held to just three hits. Trailing 3-0, the Big Blue rallied with two runs in the bottom of the seventh on a two run triple from Kalli Farmer.
         The second game was all Millikin with the Big Blue scoring two runs in the first, six in the second and one run in the third. Bailey Gowin led the Millikin attack going 2-3 with a double and three RBI. Maggie Comerford went 2-3 with two RBI and Taylor Jordan also had two hits.
         Junior Rachel Patting and freshman Josie Magnabosco combined on a five inning no-hitter. Patting threw the first two innings with Magnabosco earning the win with the final three scoreless innings.
