Millikin Men’s Tennis Extends Winning Streak to Eight

         The Millikin men's tennis team extending its winning streak to eight straight matches with a 7-2 win over Greenville University in a non-conference contest on April 10 at the Fairview Tennis Center in Decatur, Illinois.
         Millikin is now 11-3 on the season while Greenville falls to 12-2.
         Millikin won two doubles matches with Jacob Palley and Colin Sandgren winning at number one doubles 8-4 and Nick Laramee and Holden Owens winning 8-7(4) in the third doubles slot.
         Palley was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at number one singles. Sandgren, who was named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Player in the Week earlier in the day, won at two singles 6-2, 5-7, 10-2.
         Other singles winners for Millikin were Greg Schwoeppe 7-6, 6-4; Owens 7-6, 6-3; and senior Ryan Sikora 7-5, 0-6, 10-7.
