Big Blue Women’s Soccer Opens with Tie

         The Millikin women's soccer team played to a 1-1 double overtime tie at Knox College in Galesburg on August 30 to open the 2019 season.
         Millikin scored at 39:28 when Shae Giovanni and Maddi Pabst team for a goal.
         The Prairie Fire tied the game in the 53rd minute on a goal from Lydia Mitchell.
         Jennifer Miller had six saves in goal for Millikin.
         The Big Blue host Westminster College on Sunday, September 1 at 12 p.m. in their home opener.
