Millikin Men’s Basketball Loses to Augustana

         The Millikin men's basketball team lost to Augustana College 83-58 on January 12 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.
         The game was pushed back from Saturday due to winter weather in the Quad Cities area.  The delay did not deter the hot shooting Vikings who shot 67 percent (14-21) from the field in the first half including 6-8 (75 percent) from three-point range.  Augustana lead 43-28 at halftime.
         The Viking shot 55 percent from the field for the game wand went 9-20 from three-point range. Millikin shot 29 percent (19-65) from the field and went 5-22 from three-point range.
         Millikin's top scorer was Calvin Fisher with 16 points followed by Zach Fisher with 12.
         Lucas Simon had 17 points to lead the Vikings.  Pierson Wofford, Micah Martin and Austin Elledge each had 14 points. 
         Millikin is now 4-11, 1-5 while Augustana goes to 9-5, 3-2.
