Millikin Opens Indoor Track Season

The Millikin men's and women's track and field team opened its Indoor season at the Titan First Chance Meet hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University on December 4 in Bloomington, Illinois. No team scores were kept for the event.

In the men's competition, the Big Blue won two events and has three top two finishes. Kristian Boado won the Weight Throw in 16.81 meters. Roy Baggio was eighth in the event at 11.69 meters.

Solomon Ware won the High Jump 1.95 meters. The Big Blue's Keyton Hollan was fifth at 1.80 meters.

Marshun Hart finished second in the Long Jump at 6.87 meters (22-6.50), which is the fourth best jump in school history. Caleb Bleich was sixth at 6.45 meters.

Lee'Vonte Kelley was sixth in the 200 Meters in 23.55 seconds.

In the women's competition, Millikin's Katie Abell was third in the Weight Throw at 14.82 meters.

Brea Blackwell was third in the Long Jump at 5.26 meters.

Eryn Renison finished in fifth in the 600 Meters in 1:40.78

Zariah Wherry was tied for seventh in the High Jump at 1.47 meters.
