Millikin Track Competes in Tri-Meet

The Millikin men's and women's track and field team was back in action at a tri-meet against Illinois Wesleyan University and Elmhurst University at the Shirk Center in Bloomington, Illinois on February 13. No team scores were kept.

Mashun Hart was a double event winner for Millikin winning the 60 Meters in 7.28 seconds and finishing in first in the Long Jump in 6.54 meters.

Ben Kuxmann won the 400 Meters in 50.95 seconds, which was third fastest time in Millikin Indoor Track history. The Big Blue's Jackson Allen was second at 51.62 seconds and Jake Shumaker in third at 52.08 seconds.

Austin Bridgeman won the 1 Mile Run in 4:32.65.

Dalton Spencer won the 60 Meter Hurdles in 9.16 seconds.

Millikin took the top two spots in the 3000 Meters with Garrett Jones finishing in first at 9:34.16 followed by Dakota Myers at 9:47.67.

Bradyn Olmstead was second in the 5000 Meters in 15:48.69.

Kristian Boado was second in the Weight Throw at 15.84 meters.

Millikin won the 4x400 Relay in 3:29.53 with Caleb Bleich, Kuxmann, Shumaker and Allen running legs.

Hailey Wimberly won the 400 Meters in 58.58 seconds. Eryn Renison finished in third in 1:01.23.

The Big Blue took the top three spots in the 3000 Meters with Quincy Collings finishing in first in 11:10.88 followed by Maddy Eck in 11:24.32 and Joycelyn VanAntwerp in third at 11:27.23.

Alyssa Vignos won the 60 Meter Hurdles in 9.62 seconds.

Brea Blackwell was second in the Long Jump with a jump of 5.28 meters. Blackwell was third in the Triple Jump at 10.58 meters.

Stephanie Oliver finished in second in the Shot Put at 10.99 meters. Anna Gambol was third at 10.29 meters.

Adriyanna Patterson finished in second in the Weight Throw at 15.46 meters. Oliver was third at 14.75 meters.
