Game Recap: Men's Volleyball | | Morgan Vogels

Men's Volleyball Defeated by Augustana

The Millikin Men's Volleyball team traveled to Rock Island, Illinois Saturday, February 20 to take on the Vikings of Augustana College. Millikin was defeated in three sets.

The Big Blue dropped the first set 15-25. In the second set, the Vikings started off on a 9-1 run and defeated the Big Blue 15-25. Rounding out the match, Millikin lost the third set 17-25. 

The Big Blue were led by Kyle Clendenen at the net who tallied six kills, along with two service aces. Colby Campbell added four kills and three blocks. 

Sophomore setter Robbie Maida led Millikin in assists with 11, and Fredrick Halper was the digs leader with 15.

Justin Murphy led Augustana with eight kills, and Sanchit Khaitan tallied 23 assists.

The Big Blue heads to Dubuque, Iowa Wednesday, February 24 to take on the Duhawks of Loras College in a CCIW matchup.
