Millikin Track Competes at IWU

         The Millikin men's and women's Indoor Track and Field team returned to action competing against Illinois Wesleyan and Augustana College at the Shirk Center in Bloomington, Illinois on Feb. 27.
         The Millikin men post six event wins lead by senior Jackson Allen who won the 60 Meters in 7.01 seconds and the 200 Meters in 22.52 seconds.
         Dalton Spencer won the 60 Meters Hurdles in 9.10 seconds.
         Ben Kuxmann won the 800 Meters in 1.54.16. Jake Shumaker finished in second in 1:57.97 with the third fastest time in school history.
         Freshman Bradyn Olmstead won the 3000 Meters in 9:02.08
         Big Blue senior Joey Davies is leading after four events in the Heptathlon, which will be completed on Sunday.
Millikin's Austin Bridgman was second in the 1 Mile Run in 4:34.06 followed by Gabe Bush in third at 4:36.19.
         The Big Blue's Marshun Hart finished in second in the Long Jump at 6.65 meters and was third in the 60 Meters in 7.17 seconds.
         Max Rogers was second in the Triple Jump at 12.92 meters.
         Nick Fornoff was third in the Long Jump at 6.04 meters.
         Kristian Boado finished in third in the Weight Throw breaking his own school record at 16.46 meters.
         The Big Blue won the Men's 4x400 Relay in 3:28.23 with Allen, Caleb Bleich, Kuxmann and Shumaker running legs
         The Millikin women posted five event wins.
         Senior Alyssa Vignos won the 60 Meter Hurdles in 9.61 seconds. Vignos, a two-sport athlete, will play for the Big Blue women's volleyball team on Sunday.
         Eryn Renison won the 400 Meters in 1.00.24. Brianna Niebrugge finished second in 1:01.16.
         Millikin took the top three spots in the Shot Put with Stephanie Oliver finishing in first at 12.04 meters. Anna Gambol was second at 10.70 meters and Katie Abell was third at 10.33 meters.
         Brea Blackwell won the Triple Jump at 11.11 meters.
         Alyssa Ruiz was second in the 1 Mile Run in 5:32.16
         Adriyanna Patterson finished in second in the Weight Throw at 15.83 meters improving her own mark in second place on Millikin Indoor Track Top 10 Performance List. Oliver was third at 15.34 meters, which places her in fifth on the Millikin performance list.
         Quincy Collings finished in second in the 3000 Meters in 10:51.02, which was third fastest time in Big Blue Indoor Track history.
Joycelyn VanAntwerp was second in the 5000 Meters in a time of 19:47.07.
         Anne Longman was second in the Pentathlon with 2379 points followed by Maddie Russelburg in third with 2200 points.
         Dani Kelso finished in third in the 60 Meters in 8.48 seconds.
         Katie Rinser was third in the 800 Meters in 2:27.66
         Kayla Green was third in the High Jump in 1.40 meters.
         Zena Roberts was third in the Long Jump at 4.79 meters.
