Millikin Women’s Basketball Breaks into National Rankings

DECATUR, Illinois—The Millikin University women's basketball team has made its way into the D3hoops.com Top 25 national poll earning the 13th spot in this week's ranking.

The Big Blue are 4-1 on the season heading into tonight's game against Illinois Wesleyan University.

D3hoops.com is the premier web site dedicated to covering NCAA Division III basketball. Millikin received 40 votes in this week's poll earning the 13th ranking. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, D3hoops.com national poll is only ranking the top 15 teams this season. Millikin received six votes in last week's initial ranking of the year.

The Big Blue have won three straight games including wins at Carthage College 73-51 and at Illinois Wesleyan 90-82 last week.

College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) COVID-19 protocols prohibit fans from attending the games in person, but Millikin has several ways you can follow all of the action live including a live radio broadcast and live video streaming broadcast of all women's basketball home games.
