Big Blue Softball Ranked Fourth in Great Lakes Region

The Big Blue softball team is ranked fourth in the Division III Great Lakes Region in the first regional rankings released by the NCAA Friday, April 30. Millikin is set to wrap up their conference season on Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1 with doubleheaders against Illinois Wesleyan and Elmhurst.

With a 24-10 overall record and 21-7 in College Conference and Illinois and Wisconsin play, the Big Blue currently sit atop the CCIW standings. Millikin followed up a 4-0 weekend in Wisconsin with a 2-1 start to a busy week. The Big Blue walked off Wheaton on a two-run home run by Leah Foreman in the ninth and picked up their second win of the week with a seven run seventh inning at North Central.
