Millikin Women’s Soccer Downs Monmouth

The Millikin women's soccer team defeated Monmouth College 3-1 on September 22 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur.
 
Millikin opened the scoring in the seventh minute with Maddy Wood scoring her third goal of the season. The Big Blue went up 2-0 at 53:52 when Bailee Blecker scored for the sixth time this season off an assist from Alyssa Analitis.  Amanda Noser scored Millikin's final goal in the 83rd minute with Wood being credited with the assist.
 
Hadyn DeLeeuw converted a penalty kick for Monmouth's lone goal.
 
Hope Limoges earned the victory in goal with five saves.
 
Millikin is now 4-3 while Monmouth goes to 1-6.
