Women’s Soccer Falls to Firebirds

The Millikin women's soccer team opened play in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin with a 2-1 loss to Carthage College on September 24 in Decatur, Ill.
 
Millikin opened the scoring at 14:45 when Maddi Pabst scored on a direct kick. 
 
Carthage tied the game early in the second period when Malaika Biririndavyi scored. Morgan Verbeten scored the game winner for the Firebirds at 62:06.
 
Millikin is now 4-4 overall while Carthage goes to 3-5.
