Big Blue Football Defeats Carroll University

The Millikin football team improved to 2-1 on the season and 2-0 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) with a 32-25 win over Carroll University on September 25 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur.
 
Running back Marion McGhee and wide receiver Jahlil Lipkin had huge nights for the Big Blue. McGhee rushed for 89 yards on 21 carries scoring five touchdowns. Lipkin had eight catches for a career high 160 yards.
Quarterback Cal Pohrte was 21-26 for 268 yards.
 
Michael Johnson was 22-38-1 passing for Carroll for 332 yards and three scores. Austin Eichstaed had six catches for 166 yards.
