Big Blue Women's Volleyball Bests UChicago in Four Sets

The Big Blue women's volleyball team traveled to Chicago, Ill. on Friday, October 21 for a matchup with the University of Chicago where they defeated the Maroons in four sets (25-20, 23-25, 26-24, 25-18). 

Addison Oyer led the way in kills with 16, and Kailee Itzenhuiser chipped in 14 kills. Kaitlyn Skowronski tallied 13 kills. Olivia Grbavac notched three service aces and 27 set assists. Reece Brown recorded 21 set assists. Itzenhuiser was the digs leader with 32, and Julianna Vassallo tallied 21 digs. 

For the Maroons, Ellie Alden tallied 13 kills and Maggie McInerney and Diya Mishra each added 10. 

The Big Blue will return to conference play on Tuesday, October 25 at the Griswold Center for a matchup with the Cardinals of North Central College.
