Big Blue Men’s Basketball Rolls Over Greenville

The Millikin men's basketball team rolled to a 120-85 win at Greenville University on November 15 in Greenville, Illinois.
 
The Big Blue took full advantage of Greenville's run and shoot style building a 64-42 lead at halftime. Millikin shot 65.8 percent (52-79) from the field while holding Greenville to 37.6 percent (32-85) from the field. The Big Blue dominated the glass out rebounding the Panthers 55-30.
 
Sophomore Drake Stevenson led Millikin with a career high 25 points. Stevenson tied his career high in rebounds with 10 and assists with eight. Cole Laurence grabbed nine rebounds and scored a career high 22 points. Frazier Ott was impressive in his second game with Millikin scoring 23 points and grabbing five rebounds. Landon Hullinger added a career high 15 points. JT Welch scored seven points and dished out nine assists.
 
Carlos Crespo led Greenville with 14 points while Keishun Thomas added 13.
 
Millikin improves to 2-0 while Greenville falls to 0-2. The Big Blue will be at Eureka on Thursday before returning home on Saturday for the home opener at 4 p.m. against the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
