Big Blue bested by North Central in CCIW Play

Box Score The Big Blue men's volleyball team hosted the Cardinals of North Central College on Wednesday, March 3rd for a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin matchup. Millikin fell to the Cardinals in straight sets (25-15, 25-15, 25-19).

The Cardinals outkilled the Big Blue 35-15. Connor Fosselius led the Big Blue on offense notching 6 kills and an ace for a team high 7 points on the night. Michael Anderson added 4 kills and recorded 2 solo blocks for Millikin. Robbie Maida tallied 15 assists as well as an ace. Jensen Mast picked up 6 digs defensively for the Big Blue.

North Central was led by Luke Schmidt and Austin Scott, who both finished with 6 kills. Tyler Donovan added 4 kills and a game high 3 aces.

The Big Blue will travel to Augustana on Saturday, March 12 for an in-conference matchup. First serve is set for 2:00 PM.
