Men's Tennis Falls to North Central in Opening CCIW Matchup

The Big Blue men's tennis team took the court against CCIW foe North Central College at the Decatur Athletic Club on Friday, April 1. Millikin fell by a 2-7 margin. 

In doubles play, Clayton Maack and Holden Owens picked up a victory at No. 2, defeating Colten Way and Andy Hinch 8-6. On the singles side, Owens was the lone victor, defeating Guillermo Gonzalex 6-2 in the first set at No. 3 before falling in set two 3-6, then bouncing back to win the tiebreaking third set 10-2. 

Big Blue men's tennis will be back in action on Friday, April 8 when they travel to Kenosha, Wis. for a CCIW match against Carthage College.
