Millikin Softball in Division III Regional Rankings

DECATUR, Illinois—The Millikin softball team is ranked first in its region in the NCAA Division III Regional Rankings released by the NCAA on April 27.
 
In the second rankings released this week Millikin is ranked first in Region VIII based on action through April 26. Millikin (26-4*) is followed in the rankings by Concordia-Wisconsin (25-3), MSOE (18-4), Washington University-St. Louis (29-11) and North Central (20-7). Fellow College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin competitor Illinois Wesleyan rounds out the ranked teams in 10th.
 
The Regional rankings are key components used by the NCAA to selection at-large team for the NCAA Division III Baseball Field.
 
Millikin has six games remaining in the regular season. They host Carthage College on Friday for a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m. The Big Blue play at Augustana College on May 1 and host Coe College in a non-conference doubleheader on May 3.
