Swimming Falls on the Road at Wheaton

The Millikin men's and women's swim teams traveled to Wheaton, Ill. on Friday, January 13 to match up against the Thunder of Wheaton College in a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin contest. The men fell by a 34-169 margin, and the women were outscored 48-145.

Kendall Rossignol placed second in the women's 1000 yard freestyle in a time of 11:49.59. In the women's 200 freestyle, Kaitlyn Mayer recorded a second place finish with a time of 2:09.80.

For the men, Justin Maniago took third in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:55.08.

Aly Barnes took the top slot in the 200 yard IM, swimming a 2:17.87.

Msanaa Bosland took third in the men's 200 yard IM in 2:10.70. In the men's 100 yard freestyle, Jack Hughes placed third in 50.83. Bosland placed second in the men's 500 yard freestyle in a time of 5:26.66.

Rossignol tallied her second 2nd place finish of the day in the 100 yard breaststroke in a time of 1:13.59.

The Big Blue will be back in action on Friday, January 20 when they travel to Bloomington, Ill. to take on Illinois Wesleyan University.
