Big Blue Football Falls to #1 North Central

The Millikin football team lost to defending national champion and number one ranked North Central College 75-3 on October 14 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
 
The Cardinals dominated the game scoring 21 points in the first quarter and 34 points in the second quarter. North Central had 646 yards of total offense while holding the Big Blue to 226 yards.
 
North Central was led by quarterback Luke Lehnen who was 10-14 passing for 309 yards and four touchdowns. DeAngelo Hardy had seven catches for 174 yards and three touchdowns with 170 yards coming after the catch.
Joe Sacco rushed for 117 yards on seven carries with one touchdown.
 
Chord Miller had four catches for Millikin for 74 yards and Don Starling had two catches for 66 yards.
 
Millikin got a 34-yard field goal from David Ramirez in the fourth quarter.
 
North Central is now 6-0, 5-0 while Millikin falls to 0-6, 0-5.
