Men's Cross Country Fourth at CCIW Championships

The Millikin women's cross country team finished in first place at the 2023 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Cross Country Championships held at St. James Farm in Warrenville, Illinois on October 28.

The first give Millikin's its first ever women's cross country conference championship and earned the Big Blue coaching staff lead by Andrew Craycraft the Women's CCIW Coaching Staff of the Year Award.

Alyssa Ruiz was Millikin's top finisher coming in fourth place in 22:48.0, which was the fourth fastest 6K time in school history. Kendra Culler-Gautschi finished in fifth in 23:01.5, which was ninth best in Millikin history.
Quincy Collings finished in 10th place in 23:22.4. Ruiz, Culler-Gautschi and Collings all earned All-Conference First Team honors. Big Blue sophomore Emma Mallory earned All-Conference Second Team honors with an 18th place finish in 24:00.3.

Collings won the CCIW Elite 26 Award for top grade point average on the Championship winning team.

Millikin's Lily Monigold was the Big Blue winner of the CCIW RESPECT Award.

In the men's competition, Millikin finished in fourth place led by Bradyn Olmstead earning All-Conference First Team honors with a ninth place finish in 25.07.4.

William Turvey was Millikin's winner of the CCIW RESPECT award.
