On Saturday, October 7th, the Big Blue women's tennis team welcomed the Carroll Pioneers for another day of CCIW matchup play. The Big Blue was downed by the Pioneers 2-7. The overall record for the Big Blue is now 2-5 and 1-3 in CCIW play.
Before falling in doubles to the Pioneers,

Kaitlyn Mullins teamed up at No. 3 doubles to push their match to a 6-8 loss. The Pioneers took the lead after sweeping doubles play to make their 3-0 headstart.
The Big Blue battled back with Junior,
Emily Markus picking up a win at No.1 singles, defeating Natasha Pupovac 6-0, 7-5. Earning the second and final win for the Big Blue, Mullins soared 6-0, 6-1 over Madison Ostrander at No. 4 singles.
The Millikin women's tennis team travels to Chicago on Wednesday, October 11th to take on CCIW matchup, North Park University. First serves start at 3:00 PM for the Big Blue and the Vikings.
