Football Drops Final Road Game of Season

The Millikin football team lost its final road game of the season falling at Carroll University 41-0 on November 4 in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
 
The two teams played a close first quarter with Carroll scoring the point points of the quarter on a seven-yard run from Marcus Johnson. The Pioneers took control of the game in the second quarter building a 21-0 advantage at halftime.
 
Millikin was limited to 116 yards of total offense while allowing 362 yards to Carroll.
 
Matthew Salazar led the Millikin offense with 73 yards rushing on 14 carries. Senior Christopher Montgomery led the way for the Big Blue defense with 10 tackles and one forced fumble.
 
Quarterback Josh Raby led the Pioneers attack going 18-28 passing for 222 yards and three touchdowns.
 
Carroll improves to 5-4, 4-4 while Millikin falls to 0-9, 0-8.
