Men's Swimming Dominates over Carroll, Women Fall to the Pioneers

The Big Blue men's and women's team traveled to Carroll University in Waukesha, WI on Saturday, November 4th, 2023. The Big Blue took on the Pioneers at 1:00 PM. The men's team dominated and secured the win with a 111-61. The women's team fell to the Pioneers 49-107.

On the men's side, the men won 9 of the 11 events. In the 400 Medley Relay, Dawson Behl, Aaron Amaya, Msanaa Bosland, and Julian Moreno teamed up to be the victors.

Behl continued the win streak with coming out on top in the 100 freestyle in 49.74 and winning the 200 freestyle in 1:53.19.

Michael Erickson came out hot with winning two individual events. Erickson won the 1000 freestyle in 11:12.01 and the 500 freestyle in 5:22.91.

KJ Hamlin won the 50 freestyle in 24.53. Amaya continued with taking the win in the 200 IM in 2:14.03. Bosland took the win for the 100 breaststroke in 1:05.57. Jason Burrow continued the hot streak for the Big Blue and won the 100 butterfly in 1:02.15. To finish off for the men's side, Alex Tabuchi added two scoring swims in the 100 and 500 Freestyle, which were both new lifetime bests.

On the women's side there were two victorious winners in individual events. Natallie Buchanan got the Big Blue on the board with winning the 100 breaststroke in 1:21.99. In the first meet in almost 3 years, Analynn Bullock came back strong with winning the 100 backstroke in a time of 1:07.59, and placed 2^nd in the 200 IM
