Men's Basketball Downed by WashU

The Big Blue men's basketball team matched up with the Bears of Washington University of St. Louis on Saturday, December 2. Millikin fell in the contest 47-63 after leading 23-20 at the halftime break. 

In the game, JT Welch led the scoring for MU with 11 points, and Jaden McClain added nine.  DeMarcus Bond led the Big Blue in rebounding with seven. The Big Blue shot 32.7% from the field. 

WashU was led offensively by Hayden Doyle, scoring 21 points and nabbing six rebounds. 

The Big Blue will be back in action on Wednesday, December 6 when the Vikings of Augustana College travel to the Griswold Center with the game scheduled for a 5:00 PM tipoff.
