Millikin Men’s Soccer Upsets WashU

The Millikin men's soccer team knocked off Washington University-St. Louis 2-1 on September 16 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Ill.  The Big Blue improve to 4-1-1 on the season while the Bears fall to 2-2-1.
 
WashU scored the games first goal in the 23rd minute on a goal from John Daniels with the assist going to Joseph Hipskind.
 
Millikin tied the game four minutes later with Alvin Brahmhagen scoring on a long pass in from Nacho Diaz.
 
The Big Blue scored the game winner on a Diaz penalty kick late in the first period.
