CCIW Showdown Set for Griswold Center

Two of the top women's basketball programs in the country will converge on the Millikin's Griswold Center on Wednesday, Jan. 24 when the 16th ranked Big Blue women's basketball team hosts #11 Illinois Wesleyan University at 7 p.m.
 
Help support the Millikin women's team by coming to the game and sporting you best blue apparel. All fans wearing blue will receive free admission to the game.
 
The contest is a battle for first place in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) with the Titans (15-3, 8-1) holding a one game lead over Millikin (15-3, 7-2). The two teams met on January 17 with Millikin winning in thrilling come behind fashion 93-91 with Sophie Darden scoring the game winner with four second left to play!
 
The game could include some history as senior All-American Elyce Knudsen is closing in on two milestones. Knudsen, Millikin's second all-time leading scorer, has 1,979 career points (90 games). She needs 21 points to reach the 2,000 point mark in career. Knudsen is just 38 points of Millikin the Big Blue record for points in a career held by Lindsay Ippel with 2,017.
