Swimming Participates in IWU Halloween Invite

The Millikin swim team travedled to Bloomington, Ill. on Saturday, October 26 for the annual IWU Halloween Invite.The Big Blue took fourth on the men's side and fifth on the women's.

In the opening race, teh team of Grace Meacham, Erin Powell, Kendall Rossignol, and Aly Barnes swam a 5:24.70 to place third in the 500 freestyle. The men's team of Dawsen Loafman, Ridge Batchelor, Alexander Tabuchi, and Aaron Amaya placed fourth in the men's race.

The women's team of Anjaleah Knowles, Powell, and Meacham placed fourth in the women's 300 yard backstroke relay in a time of 3:23.14.

Loafman was seventh in the men's 100 freestyle in a time of 52.66.

The men's 300 yard breaststroke team of Jacob Bloom, Amaya, and Batchelor placed second in a time of 3:23.19.

Barnes placed second in the women's 200 freestyle in a time of 2:03.32. Msanaa Bosland was fourth in the men's race in a time of 1:54.87.

The 200 yard medley relay team of Knowles, Rossignol, Barnes, and Pacheco placed fourth in the race in a time of 2:06.10. The men's team also placed fourth with Loafman, Bloom, Bosland, and Amaya all swimming legs.

Loafman was fourth in the men's 200 yard backstroke race in a time of 2:14.30.

The women's 300 yard medley relay team of Barnes, Rossignol and Knowles were fourth in a time of 3:32.26.

The Big Blue scored 42 total points on the men's side, and 83 on the women's.
